Training and launching event

  • KBR collaborated with Universitas Multimedia Nusantara and Mitra Netra to conduct podcast training and launch of “Glow in the Dark” podcast 
  • The podcast was launched on International Disability Day, 3 December 2023 
  • The podcasts are designed and produced by disabled people with blindness and vision impairment Participants: 20 people

Campus engagement

  • In partnership with prominent universities (Universitas Al Azhar, UPN, Interstudi, Universitas Bunda Mulia, and many more) 
  • Conducted offline and online (by request) 
  • Participants: 50-200 people Our regular event with universities is P3K (Podcast Kampus Ke Kampus) to introduce value-oriented and journalism-based podcasts to university students as aspiring podcasters

Pesta Muda Bersuara is KBR’s event for political education for university students for the upcoming Elections 2024

Fellowship & competition

  • In partnership with various partners to conduct fellowship (for journalists, bloggers, student journalists) and also competition 
  • Available for customized fellowship and competition with clients

Boot camp

  • Bootcamp KBR x Oxfam,  we conducted 5 day boot camp for oxfam’s organization partners in 2 areas.  The goal is empower local organizations to design and conduct a campaign on the climate crisis, based on what the locals need.  We also created the campaign modules as guideline for the organizations and also for future reference.

  • Boot camp Podcaster Hunt, we conducted 3 times 3 – day boot camp for a total of 100+youth participants to create podcast with a mission  to fight hoax and misinformation/disinformation, and also on leprosy.  We also created the module to produce podcast and campaign on social media.

Radio Drama

KBR collaborates with the Ministry of Transportation to create this 10-episode sound-rich radio drama evolving on 4 youths in search of their life’s questions who got reunited through a journey. This series was set with the characters using facilities run by the Ministry of Transportation. 

This radio drama was broadcast to 10 radio stations across Indonesia. Listen to the podcasts on KBR Prime. This podcast was on the Top 5 best listening podcasts in 2023.

Pesta Bhineka Bertaut

Pesta Bhineka Bertaut is KBR’s event to celebrate diversity and inclusivity with the youth. This is the celebration of young podcasters who have graduated from the KBR Prime Podcaster Hunt 2023. We combined light talk with graduation ceremony and award celebration, as well as entertainment. Talk show speakers: Kalis Mardiasih (feminist activist), Abigail Limuria (Bijak Memilih) and Nenden Sekar Arum (Safenet).
